The individual modules that make up this course are listed below. You can work through them in the order suggested here, or change the order if it suits your group better.

This course doesn’t pretend to cover the main areas of catechesis you may wish for a confirmation programme.

But it recognises the reality that in some parishes there is very limited time available. It tries to make space for some of the key questions that young people have, and to introduce some core catechesis on baptism, confirmation the Holy Eucharist and confession.

(1) THE SEARCH FOR HAPPINESS The impossibility of sitting still. What is happiness? How to press the pause button.
(2) WHO IS JESUS? He came to bring life to the world. The Saving Death of Jesus. The light of the Resurrection.
(3) THE POWER OF PRAYER What is prayer? Does prayer make a difference? How to pray.
(4) THE SACRAMENTS OF BAPTISM AND CONFIRMATION The power of the sacraments and the liturgy. How baptism can change your life. Confirmation and the gift of the Holy Spirit.
(5) FORGIVENESS, HEALING AND MISSION Forgiveness and the Sacrament of Confession. Healing and the Sacrament of the Sick. Christian mission and the call to share our faith.
(6) THE HOLY EUCHARIST The meaning of the Mass. The Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

As an Independent Catholic Church, we are not restricted by Rome in what we are able to offer to our congregants. We welcome all God's children to the table to receive the Body and Blood of Christ. All our Sacraments are valid in the eyes of the Roman Church as reported by both Saint John Paul II and Pope-Emeritus Benedict XVI as outlined in a document entitled, “Dominus Iesus” and our Apostolic Succession is truly intact. The Roman Catholic Church has had to acknowledge that not all dominations with “TRUE” Apostolic Success are in full communion with them.

We do not discriminate as to their age, race, gender, sexual orientation or those that have been divorced and remarried. We are all children of ONE GOD and as such we should ALL be treated with respect and dignity.
